April Fools Day
April Fools Day was listed as a back down day on the training schedule. It said that we were only to run 6 miles. Turns out that was right. We did only run 6 miles. The April Fools part was that we were actually saying, "only 6 miles"!
I actually got 5+ hrs of sleep the night previous and ended up finishing the 6 miles with comparative ease. I finished about a 1/2 mile AHEAD of the people I normally finish BEHIND. I discovered once more that talking is VERY beneficial to my pace.
Afterward I was reasonably tired, but NOT exhausted and NOT walking around like an old lady!
I was very encouraged to do so well, especially after last week's Sea World run where I finished so close to last and could barely move for the rest of the day.
